At J&E Family Roofing LLC, we are committed to customer satisfaction and fair business practices. This refund policy outlines the circumstances under which refunds may be provided for our roofing services.
Right to Cancel
3-Day Cancellation Period
You have the right to cancel any contract within 3 business days of signing without penalty or obligation, except for emergency services that have already been performed.
To exercise your right to cancel, you must notify us in writing within the 3-day period. Notice can be sent via email to estrella@jefamilyroof.com or delivered to our office at 2630 S Laurel Ave, Sanford, FL 32773.
Deposit Refunds
Deposits are handled as follows:
- Within 3-day cancellation period: Full deposit refund
- Before work begins: Deposit refund minus administrative costs (up to $100)
- After work begins: Deposit applied to work completed and materials ordered
- After materials are ordered: Non-refundable portion for materials that cannot be returned
Work-in-Progress Cancellations
If you choose to cancel a project after work has begun:
- You will be charged for all work completed to date
- You will be charged for materials ordered specifically for your project
- Any remaining balance will be refunded within 10 business days
- We will secure the work area to prevent damage to your property
Emergency Services
Emergency roofing services performed to prevent immediate damage to your property are generally non-refundable due to the urgent nature of the work. However, we will work with customers on a case-by-case basis if there are legitimate concerns about the quality of emergency work performed.
Quality Guarantee
Satisfaction Guarantee
If you are not satisfied with our workmanship, we will work to resolve the issue at no additional cost during the warranty period.
Rather than providing refunds for completed work, we prefer to address any quality concerns by correcting the work to meet our high standards and your satisfaction.
Weather-Related Delays
Delays caused by weather conditions, permit issues, or other circumstances beyond our control do not constitute grounds for refund. We will complete the work as soon as conditions permit.
Refund Process
When a refund is approved:
- Refunds will be processed within 10 business days
- Refunds will be issued to the original payment method
- A written explanation of any deductions will be provided
- All refunds are subject to final inspection of work area
Dispute Resolution
If you disagree with our refund decision, we encourage you to contact us directly to discuss the matter. We are committed to fair resolution of all customer concerns. If we cannot reach an agreement, disputes may be resolved through mediation or arbitration as outlined in our Terms and Conditions.

This refund policy is subject to change without notice. The policy in effect at the time of your contract signing will apply to your project. We reserve the right to make exceptions to this policy on a case-by-case basis.
